ABOUT LAST BITE FILMS

Founded in 2019 by Molly J. Wexler, Last Bite Films is a Memphis-based production company committed to collaboration and storytelling. We partner with talented filmmakers to create impactful, resonant films that reflect the richness of human experience. Before founding Last Bite Films in 2019, Molly was deeply involved with the Indie Memphis Film Festival, serving as Board Chair from 2017–2019. She began her career in nonprofit fundraising and programming, experience that continues to inform her work as a producer and her ongoing involvement with community organizations.

“I’ve always been drawn to movies for their power to both transport and connect. My path to producing began through the Indie Memphis Film Festival, where I discovered how my background in nonprofit fundraising and programming could translate into filmmaking. My first project, The Little Tea Shop, taught me the craft and inspired the launch of Last Bite Films.”
